I found it deeply disheartening last January when Joe Biden took office and moved into the White House.  America has fallen, once again, to the rule of those opposed to Christ, to those opposed to all that is good.  Most serious Christians are deeply disappointed in the outcome of the elections and in the man who now sits in the White House.  Since then it has been especially difficult to watch the President and the Democrats in Congress systematically destroy freedom in America, establish unrighteous laws and policies, and squander our taxes.  They seem to be especially

Way too many people are phobic about using genetic technology to create better varieties of food-producing plants.  Yet, like any technology, genetic manipulation can be wrongly used.  Here are some thoughts on the matter.

Below is an excerpt from a paragraph I wrote this morning.  As I reviewed it I was struck with how, in this time of crisis, many people need to hear it’s message.  So, I’m posting it here for you to read and pass on as you see fit.  I hope it speaks to you.

So, here is something kind of off-track from my usual posts......My oldest son (currently residing in Canada) posted a link to the launch of the latest test of the NASA/Space X crew transport rocket/capsule.  It was really cool to watch and a true accomplishment for America’s space industry.  Here is a copy of our (slightly edited) Discord dialog:

Well, it's another snow day. Third in a row for this math teacher. I live in Eugene but work in Oakridge, 45 miles up Hwy 58 toward Willamette Pass. Oakridge has been without power and completely cut off from the outside world for about 5 days now. I can't help but wonder how the children I teach are doing. Most people rely on electricity to heat their homes, so my kids are likely really struggling with the cold. Only those who have wood or propane heat to supplement will be warm.

It’s July 5th and this morning I stepped out on our balcony and put out our flag one more time.  We don’t have a bracket to insert the pole into, so I used spring clips to attach it to the railing.  It doesn’t really matter how it is displayed, the flag is a symbol of our nation and of our devotion to America.  I love my nation and this Independence Day season I have been feeling particularly proud to be an American...

Always it came down to violence.  Those who opposed the gospel could not prevail by reason because reason pointed to Christ.........

Is anyone in America listening?  They should be.........
