Opponents of Christianity love to promote the idea that the Bible just doesn't match up with what modern science has discovered about our universe.  They claim that the science contained in the Bible is just "myth" or nice stories.  Not true!  Here is a short discussion along with a PDF of my notes from Genesis Chapter 1.

If you look at the bigger picture, the trials Joseph experienced because his brothers victimized him were incidental . God had a plan for the nation of Israel and feeding Jacob's family was secondary to His greater purposes.
