Yesterday a small asteroid (about the size of a bus) exploded several miles above the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. The shock wave did some damage on the ground and around 1100 people were injured by flying glass as it broke windows all over the city. Yet there were no deaths and, apparently, the injuries were limited to glass cuts that can be treated. The damage was mostly limited to broken glass. It's an easy thing for anyone with a prophetic nature to just assume that events like this are acts of God's judgment and we need to be careful that we don't make presumptive pronouncements about how God must be judging Russia for her sins. Those of us who carry the prophetic nature must be careful that the words and messages we speak are truly generated by what we have heard in the Spirit.
